Although the access to the cottage was steep and the road rough. the cottage was outstanding. Everything to accomodate your comfort was provided. . The views were amazing. The surrounding area was beutiful. There really isn't a negative to the cottage We would definately return.

This was our first time in this stunning cottage, the views are fantastic and inside it is spotless. We are definitely booking again and hopefully we will continue to visit this cottage. If you are searching for the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life, well this is the place for it. I have stayed in a few cottages in this area over the past 14 years but this one definitely tops the list.

3rd visit for us and the views are just as spectacular. Had to navigate all the overgrown brambles coming up and down the track, which is quite difficult on the on the bottom half of the track, on the previous visits this has been cleared. I have now got scratches along the side of my car. I do look after my car and having found all these scratches is a big disappointment. There’s definitely been a lack of maintenance to the sides where needed so take care when you start your ascent.

This is a wonderful place to stay with the whole family. There is space enough in and arround the house with mignificant sights over the Sea and the landscape. All things you need to prepare every sort of meal are in the kitchen. Its a long way from Germany - but every mile is it worth. 1 hour arround the cottage there are so many magnificant places to vist - its a dream!

Little Laight had one of the best views we have ever had from a holiday cottage, be it I Scotland or anywhere in UK. The cottage was light and very comfortable. The amenities were great. The cooker controls took a little getting used to and the track was a little rough but it did keep unwanted traffic away. The only items missing were comfortable garden furniture, as we were lucky to have two weeks of sunny weather. The picnic table provided was good but seat hard. Great area for dogs.

Perfect place for us and our 2dogs, very well equipped, cosy, comfortable, well fenced, private, but nearby village has very little, Stranraer has more. Eating out not a good idea, standards of restaurants are not too good. Folk on the estate are friendly and very kind, only thing the cottage lacked was a hose pipe to wash dogs! Sadly for us,the journey was very long, because of where we live, otherwise it would be on our list for frequent visits. A lovely place in a super position.

We had a lovely 2nd visit to Little Laight. The cottage was comfortable and clean Very homely. Shame about the weather! The views were often marred by seamist but that didn't put us off. We came home and booked again for next year.
