This was such a great lunch spot! After our first choice was super busy, we walked down the block to Mt. Adams Bar and Grill.  This should have been our first choice!  We were seated in a back patio room.  Had it been nice outside, I would've felt like I was sitting on a screened in porch.  Beautiful light fixtures, plants and plenty of stained glass adorned the room.  Our server was quick and attentive, even with a birthday party that kept flagging her down to get a lighter for candles (there is a time and place....this was neither.)  Even with all that, she continually had a smile on her face and answered our questions.  I ordered the burger and fries.  My mom had the grilled chicken sandwich with coleslaw.  The burger reminded me of a Frisch's burger (which is one of my favorites).  And I'm not sure exactly how the fries were breaded but I could eat them all day, every day!  My mom said that her chicken was delicious and moist throughout.  We both cleaned our plates and enjoyed a lovely lunch.  I would definitely come back here again!

Worth the trip - beautiful area upscale... food was great - lunch hour rush and still seated quickly - eclectic decor and Betty White on the wall.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Mt. Adams Bar and Grill is our favorite go-to place when we don't know what we want. Honestly everything I have ever gotten here is amazing; their egg sandwich, wings, chicken noodle soup, hamburgers, and French fries are ALL AMAZING! Seriously I could eat here everyday and be totally satisfied. The atmosphere is also super cool and the back room is adorable! I love that it overlooks the blind lemon's back little secret garden! Plus the staff is all super attentive and friendly!Every time we have out of town visitors, we take them here! It's just so amazing!

What an amazing find! My only regret is that I didn't go to this great place sooner! My boyfriend often plays music a couple doors down and we stopped in with a friend before the show for dinner. We are all vegetarians and were so pleasantly surprised with the amount of veggie options! I got the veggie sandwich on wheat bread and added a fried egg for $0.50 and swapped chips for the French fries, and it was absolutely amazing! They did not skimp on the avocado like most places do. It was so healthful and tasty. The fries were some of the best I have ever had! My boyfriend got the veggie burger and he said 10/10 and loved it. Our friend got southwest burger and loved it as well. The ambiance is unbeatable and even better is they music they play fits the environment, which is hard to find! Highly recommend this place! We will be back!

Consistently great service and quality. They have a wide variety, too. And they are willing to tweak their sandwiches for my picky kids. The burritos are a consistent go-to for me and my husband. The tuna one sounds suspect, but is actually a favorite.

Great atmosphere with a such a rich Cincinnati history. Great ambiance. Their cabbage soup is awesome. If you get a sandwich, opt for their fries, they're delicious. And so is their pickle relish. It's fun to try something different each time, they have a lot of choices. If you're a tourist, make sure to stop in here.

I've been here at least a dozen times. It's a good place for a sandwich and sweet potato fries - whether I'm getting a lunch or grabbing a quick bite before closing time. The prices are very reasonable (though sides are not included with sandwiches). If you're dining in, I recommend sitting in the sunroom, it's charming and overlooks the Blind Lemon's patio.

Great food, great drinks and great service.  Find Matt at the bar and you should plan on a pleasant meal and incredible hospitality.  The building is also full of history - spend some time looking around and asking questions.  Strong recommendation.

Came here a few weeks ago while in town for business, i was looking for a place to sear down dish type of plaxe to eat prior to attending a Reds game. Drove around downtown Cincinnati area until i found this place. Hostess was nice and told me where i would like to sit, we walked around the place for about 1 min as i am quite picky in my seating area( 3 areas to chooce from- front, next to kitchen,  and outback). Place was bit empty but a nice old historical school, particularity were i sat..photos of 100+ "Famous celebrities" covering the walls (1 person i recognized   from Hollywood screen - born and raised in LA) but it created a nice LA vibe. I ordered the mahi mahi which i didnt know was fish ( i dont like fish, opsy!). When it arrived it was surrounded bt rice. The Taste.. mahimahi was great and flavorful (i thought it was chicken at the time until weeks after i realized it was a large green fish) ; i wish i could say the same for the rice.. its texture and taste was likely boxed rice and Uncle Bens rice which i was slight disappointed i wished it was much more absorbent and puffy. Overall... good enough for me to try fish for the first time in my life and would try it out again if i ever visit cincinnati again.
