It's not on the menu but the bar tender made it happen. He made an excellent Michelada! FOB of the day, amazing. Poke!? Amazing. This place is a must go. Everyone at the table was happy with their food! Kudos!

I don't think bad food is allowed in Kona.  The food here was wonderful,  I had the grilled fish tacos& nachos.  My husband I shared this and there was still leftovers.

Awesome!!  If you like a comfortable welcoming reasonably priced professionally ran eatery with FRESH local and traditional cuisine that will send you out the door with a full belly then this is a must the next time you are in Kona.......  But get there early to get a seat because the locals know where the good places are .........

Great Ahi poke bowl and the jar of strawberry lemonade was amazing!  My wife had the Kaua'i grilled shrimp bowl and it was also outstanding. Friendly and fast, this is a great and affordable lunch stop

I loooove poke!! So of course as soon as I landed in Kona I went scouting for somewhere to get my fix. Lucky for me this place was just a block from our hotel (we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express). Umeke's serves a fresh variety of tuna poke. I love spicy foods so naturally I got the spicy tuna with brown rice ($0.50 more than white rice) and a side of macaroni. You have the option of adding sesame seaweed on your rice which I highly recommend. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be back a few more times before heading home.

Great authentic hole in the wall spot for some poke! It's not fancy but the food speaks for itself.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. I had the Friday Poke Bowl Special.  The food was fresh and I even at the Spam.

Great Poke, lots of options, cheap. Lines can get super long so it may be good to call ahead. There is limited seating so I also recommend getting it to go and eating it on the beach! Also the parking lot is small so i also recommend just walking from your resort to the restaurant. Seating is open air which can be tricky if it's hot or there are mosquitoes. Food seemed fresh, staff worked fast. They had a lot of variety of sides and main dishes. My only complaint is that there so many options, all with Hawaiian names, and description of what each dish was. It would be nice to have signs that tell you what type of fish each one was and how they were prepared, instead of having to ask the employee each time

My husband and I shared "da big boy bowl". We got two scoops of rice, side of garlic edamame and a side of spicy crab salad and chose a sweet teriyaki based poke (da sweetie) and a creamy based tuna poke. It was so good.

Umeke's is the best. The folks are friendly the food is fresh and high quality. It is the perfect box lunch to eat in or take on the road. It is a regular stop for us prior to a beach day. The poke is the best on the island and the homemade lemonade is my favorite.
