    I don't enjoy exercise in general and found this gem by chance on one of those late night google searches and I'm sooo glad I did! I work at a desk and lived a very sedentary lifestyle so I was just packing on those pounds.  However, since I started working out here I've become much more active and feel better. I just wanna say I love this place! I've trained with several of the trainers and they are all fantastic! They really cater to your abilities while pushing you at the same time! They work with you and help you to push yourself further. They have a variety of times and it makes it easy to come in for their group training or boot camp classes or one on one personal training. I've gotten stronger since I started coming here and everyone here is really welcoming and supportive of your fitness goals to help keep you more accountable. Definitely check this place out and I think you'll love it too!

    I usually have trouble with workout programs, either not sticking to them or them just failing in general. I have not had this issue with Underground. The trainers are fun to workout with and make you want to keep coming back. They give good advise on diet and personalize your workouts for you. It is definitely worth the money I pay every month.

    From the first time I stepped foot in the door I felt welcomed.  There was no big sales pitch, no intimidation by trainers or members, very comfortable feeling.  I started with Scott and he really got me on the right track, I am someone who has never worked out to lose weight.  My current trainers are Ron & Camille, they really care about me meeting my goals and succeeding. I appreciate the knowledge and encouragement they give to me and pushing me beyond levels that I thought I would never obtain.  It really feels good to be challenged and someone believing that I can accomplish anything.  I never thought I would be someone who looks forward to working out and thinking it was fun.   I highly recommend trying them out, you will not be disappointed.

    Undergroud Fitness is phenomenal! I've gone to other gyms and had many personal trainers in the past but the Underground Fitness in Phoenix has been the best experience hands down. The trainers are down to earth, friendly and encouraging. From the beginning my trainer Camille listened to my fitness goals and offered practical guidance for me to reach my best! While training with Camille I've watched my body transform for the better. Each session is personally adapted for what I need and she makes it fun and enjoyable! The Saturday Boot Camp with Camille is an awesome H.I.I.T class (High Intensity Interval Training) and I highly recommend it to everyone!

    If you want trainers that not only care about the work you put in the gym, but the fuel you put inside your body outside of the gym, this is your place.I've done "big box" gyms, who only care about the bottom line.  I've done mass bootcamps, 30+ people and 1 trainer which do not provide 1:1 attention.  This place doesn't up-sell you, there is no crazy add-on; it provides 1:1, small group classes, and mini-bootcamps.  The best part is that the owners have hired trainers that actually care about your progress and your fitness goals.I train with LJ and Camille and they are absolutely amazing!  LJ makes my workouts fun (on no conditions have I ever thought working out was "fun") but they are with him! He encourages me with each week that I progress to push myself to do even better than last week.  Camille is the kindest, sweetest, most motivational trainer I have ever met.  She truly listens to you, and customizes the workouts to meet your needs.  You know sometimes when something seems impossible?  And you trap yourself inside your own head, thinking you can't do it?  Camille pulls you out of that dark place, and helps you understand what your body is capable of.  She has gotten me started on a whole new way of looking at my nutrition, and understanding that you truly can't "out exercise a bad diet!"  On Saturdays she offers a bootcamp, which is always new, fun, and an insanely intense circuit.  The small environment allows you to get to know the "regulars" who are all very kind and encouraging.  There isn't the random "bro" in the corner throwing his weights on the ground, screaming for all to hear, like you see in the big places.  Rather, everyone is working on their own stations, pushing their own limits, and encouraging one another when something gets tough.I am so grateful I found Scott, Ron, Camille & LJ at Underground Fitness.  I've been coming here since April, and I've been able to push myself further than I ever thought possible.  I leave every session feeling like I got my booty kicked, but with a new strength and confidence to tackle my day.

    I came to Underground Fitness as a total newbie to weight training. From the first consultation with Scott and Camille I felt comfortable and never intimidated. Now I have been training with Camille for four months and I love it! She has been an amazing trainer and taught me everything I needed to know. She is encouraging and makes working out fun. I've never been bored or done the same routine twice. The boot camp classes on Saturdays are fantastic too!

    If you're looking for a great Personal Training gym in the valley then look no further. After years of back pain it's taken only three months to be almost 100% pain free. I've been working with Scott and LJ and both are excellent trainers. I keep hitting PR's and couldn't be more happy with my results. Whether you have an injury like me, want to build muscle, or maybe lose weight, this is the place to do it at!

    Like many people , we have been trying to eat better and exercise . We have been going to the neighborhood gym to work on cardio and strength but wanted to work with a trainer .We heard about Underground fitness and went in to see what they had to offer . My Wife Teri and I were interested for a few reasons . This gym has a friendly and knowledgeable staff that actually listen to their clients . The equipment is available for all skill levels and the availability of trainers is accommodating to anyone's schedule .Come on in and consult Larone on what fitness program works best for you . He is a great asset to this gym and what this place focuses on to create a better you .  He pushes you just enough to help you reach your fitness goals. He is very motivating and fun at the same time.  Larone     is one of the best trainers we have ever worked with.

    I started working out at age 68 and was very tentative that I could do this.  I wanted to avoid gaining weight with age, improve my strength, balance and coordination and reverse the osteoporosis that comes with age.  The trainers at UF help me meet all of my fitness goals.  Now at 70, I am meaner and leaner. Move over millennials.

    In two months I lost the weight I wanted. In four months I started training to weight lift. I am in the best shape of my life and am strong!!! I can do things I'd never think I could. I climbed Piestawa Peak!!!! I love this place. And Ron is the greatest. #ihareron I've been going for 8 months. I can flip tires.
