Everything was about what you would expect, but there were a couple of anomalies. One was that I saw a tiny roach on the bathtub when I first came in. It was the only one I saw, but it made me think there were probably more in the area. The other issue was the bathroom door. The door has less than a 1/4" clearance from the sink. If the door would swing out rather than into the bathroom I think this problem would be solved. It was a bit silly that I almost had to stand in the bathtub to close the door. Breakfast was about par for complimentary, but a bit of a madhouse when everyone is there getting it at the same time. The parking for the park and cruise section was a bit narrow for most any car. I don't know if I could have got out of the car if the next space had not been vacant. The staff is nice and a pleasure to deal with, but the facilities need updating.

Surprised to see 2.5 stars for rodeway. It's obviously no Hilton but at 70 bucks a night and ten bucks a night cruise parking- we thought it was a good economical option. The room was clean and so was the lobby. Breakfast was decent and seating was nice - outdoor and indoor options. They had a free cruise shuttle at 10.30- make sure you come by 10.15 cz if they fill they do leave..also when we got back, there was a man in a yellow rodeway inn shirt, who walked up to us and called the shuttle for us. We were on our way in five minutes back to the hotel. Overall we were very pleased and will return if we cruise from Everglades again!

Stayed two nights at this hotel a few weeks after Hurricane Irma blew through town. Got in at 1am and the friendly desk clerk took care of me right away. It's a quirky place, not modern-looking outside, but the rooms are updated, with lots of outlets (important) and a sturdy desk/comfy desk chair which was easy to get work done at. Room was super clean, quiet, and  the location is great - close to both downtown Ft Lauderdale and the airport. Hotel was everything I needed, and reasonably priced. Definite recommend.

If you are looking for a great place to stay close to port everglades this is the place! They come highly recommended. We just recently stayed here for a night in preparation for our Caribbean cruise. We originally booked with their sister hotel but when we arrived their pool was in process of being renovated, so we requested to stay at a different location and the Rodeway Inn had a rooms available. The hotel was very nice and loved the garden and fun atmosphere. They even had a place next door where you can eat and enjoy music. However, what really impressed me was their service considering we were stuck in the western Caribbean during hurricane Irma and our vehicles were parked at the hotel with shuttle service to and from the port. Upon our late return to Port Everglades, the shuttle was there to pick up us up even though the hotel was closed due to power outages. This hotel ensured their customers were taking care of despite their closure. The young lady that transported us to the port and back was very helpful. Great staff. I will use them next time I may need to stay the night in Ft Lauderdale

We had a lot of fun at this here! When we pulled in there was a live band playing at the attached bar. After unpacking we headed over and got drinks, and ate. The food was surprisingly delicious, and affordable, and we hung out and watched the band until they finished. The rooms were larger than anticipated, and the beds and pillows were extremely comfy. There is a fridge and microwave, and coffee in the room. The concierge was extremely helpful and friendly upon checkin, which really helped set the tone for our stay. The outdoor pool was open late, and was very clean.

Got to stay at the lovely Rodeway Inn & Suites in Ft Lauderdale. Located right off the highway and only minutes from the airport with a great bar/restaurant RIGHT at the hotel. The staff was VERY helpful and it was a nice quiet room to catch up on sleep. Overall a solid place to spend an evening. Cheers.

I came to this hotel strictly due to the guy commenting on all the reviews only to meet him in person and find out he is truly amazing at his job. He was accommodating and hilarious. The rooms where great very clean and the included complimentary breakfast was amazing. It truly hit the spot. Thank you for your kindness me and my friend will definitely be back.

When I travel, I DEPEND on reviews. I read Yelp, Facebook & TripAdvisor reviews at minimum. This hotel seemed to have bad ratings everywhere. That being said, I needed a day room from about 10am - 6pm & this was going to have to do. From the moment we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, the area around the hotel wasn't amazing, but I was staying inside the hotel grounds. I really didn't care. As soon as we entered, we were greeted my multiple hotel staff. They were very busy at the time with guests going out on ships & we were coming in. So the fact that multiple staff greeted us, stuck out to me. The grounds were quite nice. Not like the reviews I had seen. The room had newer furniture & was clean. The gift shop was well stocked & had most anything you could need for a stay. We also ate at the restaurant. The food was delicious. Our server however could have been a bit faster. We were ready to go for about 20 minutes before she brought the bill. Again, we needed a DAY room. We used the shower, the beds & we visited the pool. The low rate was incredibly worth it & I would easily stay here again. The shuttle even took us to the airport at no cost (except tip). Which saved us a $10-15 Uber. Consider this hotel!

Great place for short notice. No complaints at all. Up to date. Would definitely stay again!!! The shuttle pickup at the airport was quicker than anticipated and the shuttle to the ship was enjoyable. Great experience TOTALLY. Thank you
