Hotel was ok for our last night in Denver very close to shopping areas, Chickfila literally across the parking so is a Walmart.   Hotel was ok only complaint no elevator to the 2nd floor.  We stayed on a Monday night and during the day empty parking lot by the time we got back 9pm full parking lot so that was bad whenever we barely found a spot to park.  Rooms were fine ac worked shower worked hallways were warm *guessing no ac turned on* but besides that we didn't mind.

Nice people running the place, Paul, Etta are great, thanks for being awesome and helping me! Housekeeping crew works hard and is on point, very nice ladies. Maintenance guy was super fast, sink drain got clogged and the dude was there 2 minutes later and fixed it right up for me, very nice person as well. My room was nice- clean, comfortable - personal fridge and microwave were clutch. Stayed for many days and would gladly come back again. Chick-fil-a is right there, bus stop right out front, dispensary a 5-10 minute walk away. Fun times in Denver!

The place seems a little run down. The carpets in the rooms look pretty bad, hard floors would be better. But otherwise it was fine, comfortable and quiet.

carpet is a little dated, but clean. beds were good, maid service was good. My only real complaint was the lack of variety for the continental breakfast. But there are several eating places within walking distance. Check in and check out was fast and problem-free

Staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean but could use updating, namely flooring. I would stay again.

Being from vegas I travel frequently and stay at many properties. I booked this room through work for a business meeting. Basically just a sleep and shower...

After finding this was the most affordable deal in the Denver area my brother and I booked a room with a King bed. The staff was polite and there were many cleaning staff present. The room was a good size, clean, and had a comfortable bed. It's not in the best part of town and there was some construction going on in the front but thankfully we were able to get a room in the back after requesting so with the front desk. The free breakfast was pretty good, cereal with cold milk, waffle machine and some sweet breads. Not a bad place to stay for a night or two.

Motel 8 Stapleton is an urban motel. Many of the previous reviewers clearly live a predominantly sterile existence.Checking in was fine. My room was cleanish but not sterile. It's easy enough to wipe stuff down. The prices are low for being so close to the city. If you go into a situation with reasonable expectations, in most cases, one will have them met.The decor is late 90's, there is a giant image of a Rocky Mountain over the bed. This is a, nice(?), touch. Standard micro, working fridge, 30" TV with basic cable, plenty of outlets. It is clearly 420-friendly, assumably within the confines of a smoking room. In other Colorado Super 8s, this reviewer had been proffered a contract stating that establishment's lack of tolerance for any marijuana consumption on the premises. There was no mention of marijuana here, the second floor did have a detectable odour of burning cannabis.SAFETY: Were I to rate Super 8 Stapleton with regards to safety I would give a 1/2 star. The parking lot is not well lit. None of the back/side doors lock at night. There was a detectable odour of cannabis in the region of the smoking rooms. If I were paranoid, easily offend-able, or had children I may consider another hotel. The complex resides on the very cusp of gentrified Denver. Here, there is ample room for digression and projection into this aspect of the modern American experience. Stapleton will one day soon be another portion of the metro-Denver complex. When it is, it will be plush and prolly kinda awful. McMansions, wasteful golf-courses for white people, suburbia. I doubt that this place will exist in 10 years...so I did, I digressed),The breakfast was the same as other Super 8's. The staff is busy, but helpful. If you park in the lot just outside the office and remain confident, this is a totally reasonable spot to stay. Do make a reservation. Tell someone where you're at too. You know, just to be safe.
