My wife and I both enjoyed the birthing class we attended. The instructor was friend friendly and knowledgeable and helped ease our minds since we had so many questions as first time parents to be. The class we attended only had two other couples so it was nice and intimate and we got all the attention we needed. We got great tips and advice, even though during the birth a lot of the information you learn goes right out the window, I did practice a lot of what we had been taught.

My first encounter with Momease was when I took their birthing class at Medstar Washington.  Ms. Carolyn Alexander lead the course and she was excellent!  She had such a deep wealth of knowledge and experience that truly enhanced my experience and made me feel a little more at ease, being a first time mom.  I spent the whole day in the class and thoroughly enjoyed it.  At first I was not thrilled about spending so much of the day their, but she was so engaging and it was amazing connecting with and learning from other pregnant women. From this class, i knew I wanted a Doula and I knew I wanted Carolyn by my side.  Carolyn as my doula was an amazing experience!  Even the backup Doula, Marnesha was amazing!  Carolyn was able to equip me with knowledge on site, so I had great questions for the nurses and doctors and I felt empowered and as though I was in charge of my own birthing experience.  When challenges in labor occurred, she was able to offer many great alternatives and coach me through.  Frankly, i truly believe Carolyn is the reason why I was able to have a vaginal birth like I wanted and not a cesarean.  She was attuned to my needs! My family loved having her present!  Whatever I needed, she was there, from start to finish.  Ive heard many disappointing  birthing stories, and I truly believe mine was different due to Carolyn being right by my side.  My fiancé is a math professor and a skeptic.  He was doubtful that we needed a doula.  But after it was all said and done, he said, "She was worth EVERY penny!"I enthusiastically recommend Momease to any and all moms out there!! :-D

My husband and I took a birth class with Momease and it was great ! We also hired a doula through this company and can't say enough positive things about her, or Momease. She took us on as clients literally hours before I went into labor and she never skipped a beat. She made my hopes of a natural child birth possible and really helped ease my husband through the whole labor process.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Momease, thank you! We took the infant CPR class and Baby Basics, and learned a ton. Both instructors were awesome, would highly recommend.

Outstanding class and instructor--Carolyn was super informative and made sure everyone left with not just their questions answered, but feeling infinitely more confident. Thank you!

This class was extremely useful to us as first-time parents. In particular, it put my husband more at ease in feeling comfortable with day-to-day activities like diapering and swaddling. We got a much better sense of how to incorporate my husband into how he can he useful and bond with the baby in the first few weeks. My only criticism is that it could have been an hour longer -- we got a ton of information, and I think unpacking it a little bit more might be helpful.

As a fourth-time mom I chose two have the experience of getting advice from lactation consultant. There was plenty of time for my questions and concerns to be answered. I saw a dramatic change in my life where I no longer was anxious and storing them for my baby for a have been advised but wonderful team provided by the breastfeeding Center.
