Jack was our salesman, he's very good about the knowledge of the trikes and accessories in the store. I purchased an Atomic Orange 559 catrike with accessories through Jach, we had an awesome time together .

The professional, kind, and knowledgeable staff at Laid Back Cycles have given me back my mobility and greatly improved my exercise options after an accident 5 years ago left me with a paralyzed right lower leg, fused ankle, and prosthetic hip. Despite the ever-changing progression of my disability they have modified my recumbent trikes to keep me moving, get me outdoors having fun and meeting people. As I no longer drive, my recumbent trike has become my primary transportation around town allowing me to maintain more of my independence and reduce the burden this disability has placed on my family. To a person they are friendly and very well trained with years of experience helping cyclists as myself, and they sell only top-quality recumbent trikes and associated products at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this business to anyone, with or without disability, who wants to become more active and enjoys spending time outdoors. Be well, stay active,, Jack Norris MD

I feel like these folks really know their product. Mickey, Jack, James&James, were all communicative, informative and excited about not only the trikes but the lifestyle as well. James is quite an artist when it comes to fixing, customizing and being creative with a product that is not your run of the mill everyday piece of equipment. They stay in touch with this trike community by offering workshops and group rides you can join. One benefit I did not expect was really connecting and getting to know some of their other clients and trike enthusiasts! You can check them out on youtube as well... some great vids! Though I love all my hobbies, I haven't had something new in my life in a while. I am thrilled to be learning a bunch of new stuff aaaaaand getting back on track to exercising and taking control of my weight/health!

I apologize for taking so long to respond to your survey. I have since retired and taken a bike tour to Tuscany which was fabulous. I am now in the process of getting my 97+ year old dad settled into a more monitored living environment. He is no longer riding which has been a very difficult transition for him. I wanted to thank you for accommodating him so well when he thought he could transition to a recumbent tricycle. It was not to be but you went beyond the call in order to help him explore that possibility. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Laid Back Cycles to anyone interested in getting a recumbent. Thank you all for doing your very best to make it work for him. Laidback is a very low-stress, high info shop. The guys know their stuff, have decades of experience with all things bicycle/trike related and mostly just want you to get the best product for your need. I ended up purchasing a Catrike Expedition after visiting 3 times and test riding a bunch of trikes each time. I never felt pressured, they just kept helping me out and answering my questions until I decided which trike would work best.

We made the trip from Pacifica to Sacramento last week and drove the 130 miles and we are happy we did. We’ve seen recumbents but never tried one and couldn’t find a shop with inventory and expertise around the Bay Area. I spoke to Mickey on the phone and liked what I heard so we went with the idea of just test riding some, and came home with 2 Terra Trike Rovers. Veni and James were terrific help and let us test ride as many trikes as we wanted in their huge parking lot. We felt no pressure at and they answered any and all of our questions. We fell in love with the trikes and the guys were great about customizing them for our sizes and we are excited each day of getting out with them and try new experiences. It’s a new transition in our lives since we have been avid runners all of our lives and it’s getting challenging as we age and we needed something new that we could get into and enjoy. We think we found it, and would strongly recommend anyone interested to make the trip.

Laid Back Cycles is a bright and clean establishment. Their staff was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. They didn't try to rush or push me into a sale, and they took the time to go over the safety and riding tips about my new bike. Fair Oaks is over an hour's drive by freeway from where I live but it was worth the trip to get the customer service and quality product which I received.
