Since joining the The Village at Sydney Creek family my Dad has thrived! Due to the excellent medical care provided by the visiting physicians and the on-site nursing staff his health has improved tremendously. The staff is consistently friendly, caring, and completely professional. Memory care is a balancing act and takes a special kind of patience.....Sydney Creek offers warmth and smiles at all times for everyone.

I have found Sydney Creek to be very caring and compassionate in their care of the residents. They are receptive to concerns, and always kind and courteous in their responses--regardless how the concern was originally expressed to them! Family is always made to feel welcome--even to the extent of being served a meal at mealtime, if desired. It's a difficult and very much unwanted situation in which families find themselves. Sydney Creek does as much as they can to add respect, caring, love, and joy to the journey.

I am verfy pleased with the care that my wife, Martha, is receiving and with Sydney Creek in general. However, I am currently a bit concerned about the recent resignations of key people on the nursing staff. I am anxious to learn more about interim and long term plans regarding this issue. The staff at Sydney Creek go above and beyond their call of duty. They not only treat the residents with love, care and concern but also their family members. I always know that our loved one is safe and loved.

Management has clear intentions to provide a loving, well managed facility. Aides in Neighborhoods turn over fairly frequently, and consistency of care has slipped over the years my Mother has been in residence. Her clothes are missing more now, and Mom is sometimes appearing in public in clothes/pajamas that make her look as though little attention was taken to dress her that morning. Activities programs are outstanding, both for residents and for family members. I appreciate that family dinners are scheduled regularly, and that there is a support group for family members to share their journey. Sydney Creek is overall a very good facility. I have a good working relationship with virtually all staff, and feel comfortable to bring my concerns to management's attention.

I'm so very happy that my mother is safe, secure and well cared for at Sydney Creek. I don't worry about her! The staff is great- always cheerful and eager to discuss my mom's issues. The facility is always maintained well and the residents seem quite content. I love knowing that my mom is in such great hands.

We hesitated to place our loved one in any kind of care facility and tried to keep her in her own home as long as possible. Once we finally did move her to Sydney Creek, the quality of her life improved immediately. She was much happier and the constant attention and activities definitely motivated her. The entire staff was so kind and caring that we all felt relieved, grateful and confident that she was in the best hands for her well being. All of the family members visited often and were impressed with the staff and felt comfortable in the facility. We would encourage anyone facing this situation with a loved one to not be afraid to make the change and give Sydney Creek the opportunity to help. Many thanks to all of the staff, we truly are appreciative of your kindness and professionalism. Pete and Marsha Rebstock
