They offer a variety activities to both their minds as well as their bodies active. The staff are very caring and kind to the residents and seem to be aware od special likes and dislikes of the residents. I have seen an improvement with my loved one's health and disposition since being there. Thank you all for what you do!

In the past year, I have come to know and greatly appreciate the continued professional attitudes and warm care displayed by all personnel at Commonwealth Senior Living at Leigh Hall. My husband has had exceptional personal and medical care, as well as physical and occupational therapy. I have every confidence that excellent standards and performance shown over this past year have been among the best in the industry. All of our family and friends have been impressed with the facility.

I took a tour day before Thanksgiving 2015 of Leigh Hall, and really enjoyed an informative and very pleasant time with Meleesa (sp?), their sales representative. She was bubbly, energetic and knew everything and more about Leigh Hall's Memory Care unit. I felt positives from the receptionist and every staff person I met there. Danielle, their receptionist, is a ray of sunshine, both on the phone and in greeting every visitor. The place is clean, new and beautiful. I love that the Memory Care unit is brand new, as the staff is fresh and enthusiastic, which I feel is great for the patients there. I liked that it was not crowded at all, which I felt would give my mom more special attention if she were there. The vignettes set up with themes, the relaxation room for sundowner syndrome, and the fact that there was a baby grand piano in the foyer, and an upright piano where mom would live, interested me because I have wanted to see if Mom could still play (she played organ and piano in our church for 40 years, and played jazz with my father in their little combo when I was a kid). I could see myself walking her over to it, and seeing what might happen. I felt an affinity with the place before I even got there, because Mom and I drove past it many times on our way home from Costco, where I'd take her to shop. Meleesa explained about the food prep, the "fantastic" chef, and the many choices they give the patients, knowing that in this disease, their tastes change. I loved the fact that Mom could get her hair done at the in-house salon as well. I loved every aspect of Leigh Hall, and that was because of the exemplary staff, Meleesa, in particular, whose warmth, kindness and good way about her made me feel quite positive about bringing my beloved mother to Leigh Hall. I hope that Leigh Hall recognizes the quality Meleesa brings to a visitor's experience there.
