Allied Air Conditioning & Heating Corp.

Through the mid to late 1960's Brent Bauer, a talented engineer, and Greg Budinger, a sharp young CPA at Parker Hannifin, a Chicago controls manufacturer, quickly became friends and decided to go into business together. They installed and serviced furnaces and air conditioners for homes in the Chicago northwest suburbs. In 1969, they incorporated Allied Air Conditioning & Heating Corp. and grew steadily. They moved into an office warehouse space on Northwest Highway in the 1970's, where they sold and serviced Carrier and Lennox heating and cooling systems. In the 1980's, operations were moved to another Palatine location off Helen Rd. behind the Weber barbeque grill plant. And in 1984, the purchase of a Libertyville HVAC service company, Morrow Heating and Cooling (now Allied Air Conditioning & Heating Corp.), expanded the service range to the fast growing Chicago northern suburbs. In 1994, Allied Air Conditioning & Heating Corp. of Palatine moved to its current location at 500 E. Northwest Highway. The building originally built as a Nash Rambler dealer in 1952 is now our Palatine home. Our northern operation is located at 203 Peterson Rd, Libertyville. We are a premier Carrier Factory Authorized, 5-time Presidents Award Dealer. As one of the largest HVAC contractors in the area we are in the top 2% nationwide in sales volume. Allied enjoys a reputation of quality, ethics, and high end customer service providing comfortable indoor environments for the homes and business of the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago.

There is a reason why Allied Air Conditioning and Heating has an A+ rating on the BBB site, they have the best service!  From the person taking your call to the technician servicing your unit.  They are super friendly and very professional.I bought my furnace/humidifier from them 10 yrs ago and a new AC unit in 2013.  Great experience from them both times.  I also purchase the service contract yearly and all the technicians have been great and they have saved me money by making sure my units are cleaned and running efficiently.  Shout out to Steven today who took care of the faulty solenoid valve on my humidifier unit; only charged me for replacing the pad.  That's the beauty of the service contract! I totally appreciated his efforts and he told me I don't need to replace the humidifier just yet even though it's getting past it's 10 yr prime.  I appreciated his honesty and integrity by not pushing me to buy a new unit yet.  He even took his time to show me how to properly adjust the settings! This is the kind of service you will get from Allied!  I highly recommend them :)

Allied is the best! Our a/c & furnaces was installed in both our homes and nary a problem. I say it's bcz of the superb service-- in installation & maintenance. It is a fine company as their employees stay w/the company which means we can look fwd to familiar faces coming into our home. Shout out for Dale! He inspected the furnace--did all the things necessary (including getting us a new filter during the serv. call) & we're set for the winter. He did this in both a professional & friendly manner. Thanks!

Allied Air Conditioning & Heating Corporation's technician "Bob" inspected and cleaned both of my air-conditioning units today (8/16/17).  As always, I remain impressed with the service that Allied provides, but want to especially commend Bob, who was thorough, competent, and courteous.  He answered all the questions that I asked and gave me some additional tips regarding both my heating and air-conditioning systems.

We needed a new air conditioner after 20 years.  John, our technician, was incredibly hard working in the crazy heat, and kept us informed on what units we could/should get and then how to properly care for our new unit.  He did try to fix the old one for us, but it didn't work.  We got a great price and a fabulous AC unit and a new thermostat that i just love (Ecobee!)

We called Allied for a second opinion after another company said we needed a new condenser motor.  The Allied tech was on time, professional, knowledgable, and best of all - fixed our problem.  He looked at the air conditioner and said it either needed a new motor or it was stuck.  It turned out that it was just stuck.  Saved us several hundred dollars!Allied will be our regular maintenance company from now on.  Thank you!

On September 28th, I called a local firm for an estimate on repairing my 17-year-old furnace, and to get a quote on just replacing it as alternative to repair.   IMHO, the repair estimate was too high for such an old furnace so I decided that replacement was the better investment.I am in the habit of getting three quotes when shopping for mid-ticket / large-ticket goods and/or services so I solicited two additional quotes from other firms.  I expected differences on the quotes from one contractor to the next but the price spread and the level of ambiguities in the wording of the quotes surprised me.By the end of October, I had all the information that I needed and my decision was easy; Jerry Eaves of Allied Air Conditioning and Heating Corp (Libertyville, Il office) had, by far, the lowest price and the most concisely detailed proposal.  Seriously, there were no contingency fees or unanswered questions.  Allied even secured the requisite permit from the city.  From my end, this turned out to be a no stress project.  The Allied office took care of scheduling and kept me abreast of the details.Allied installed the new furnace on November 9, 2016 (a mutually agreeable date).  The crew was here at 7:00 am and had everything finished by around 2:00 pm.  The crewmembers (insured Allied employees, not subcontractors) were very considerate and very professional.  Well, today is December 14, 2016 and that new furnace is readily handling our first arctic-blast of this winter season.  Here I sit, warm, cozy, and confident.I vote a solid Five Stars to:Allied Air Conditioning and Heating Corp203 Peterson RoadLibertyville, Il 60048Phone 847-367-8989FAX 847-367-8993

I recently had obtained bids to replace my furnace that had a cracked heat exchanger. I knew that there was a rebate available from Carrier since the heat exchanger prematurely failed. Allied was the only one that was honest and told me I could get a credit. The other two obviously planned to keep it for themselves and charge me full price. Allied was on time, fairly priced, and protected our carpeting. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
