Loved this farm, the location, and the people. Ed the owner knows his stuff and Lonnie his partner keeps things flowing and running smooth. Will definitely be back.

My journey to the Pahoa Hostel & Poho'iki Organic Farm, has been very interesting and exciting at the same time. I can honestly say I am very impressed with the progress they have made to the farm and I would now give this farm a 4 star with more growth to come. I can say things became more organized. There needs to be some upgrades to the farm to allow it to be a 5 star. As long as Lonnie, Edward's former girlfriend keeps part of the farm, the farm can and will continue to grow!

I stayed at the farm for about two weeks earlier this year with my significant other. we hade a great time, the ocean is so close it was very convenient for us. Ed's hospitality was outstanding and every one there was very nice as well. the fresh fruit was wonderful on the farm and was always available for us. I would recommend this spot for the those wishing to enjoy the island experience!

I've been here since Oct 2015. It's heaven! Wonderful people here, pretty mellow here. Ed is a plethora of info about the islands, culture, trees, plants... He rip-snorts on da uke. A definite character to behold!

I have lived on the organic farm and it is an amazing place with amazing people. Ed the owner really cares about the island, the land and the people living on the farm. The farm is close to Pahoa and lots of amazing warm ponds, caves and tidal pools there is soo much to do. But when you are at the farm you feel far far away from it all. Living the Hawaiian dream in a beautiful location with so many kinds of trees, fruit, nuts and flowers. My experience at the farm was a positive one surrounded by many positive and caring people. With nights of laughter and joy.

I stayed off and on Eds organic farm and experienced wonderful results. First off Ed is an exellent individual who truly cares about being responsible for our planet. He is a library of information in all things green and eco friendly. He can teach you how to recycle anything and everything. I learned gardening from the master planter ed, how to harvest coconuts from forty foot trees without equipment, how to brew a badass lilikoi organic wine and much more that I will never forget. In addition, I really enjoyed to geothermal hot ponds just down the road from the farm. Swimming in there would cleanse my pores after my work was done for the day and rejuvenate my body and soul. It truly is one of the prettiest places on this here earth. As the business suavy man he is, Ed will also assist you in ideas to help you generate a cash-flow and believe me the opportunities are available. The farm runs best in a family environment so please bring a cohesive team player attitude with you.

When you join Pohoiki Organic farm you join a family. Ed is a great guy and will take just about any one under his wing, he looks for the best in every body. If you are only looking to visit for a short while you are going to want to come back, and if you behave your self any one is welcome back. The first review I wrote was kinda joking so i wanted to write a more serious review, and im serious, Pohoiki is a seriously awsome place. Many good experiences here, good food, good friends, and neighbors. Great opportunity to grow anything you would like. Right by the beach and warm ponds, if you like surfing this is the place. Aloha

Pohoiki Orgabic Farm is Magical! The community you build there, the gardens that you plant , and the moments you are blessed to experience at the farm are truly wonderful! My brother and I stayed and work traded for about an entire season and nothing compares to how great it was. We plugged into the beauty of Mother Nature with magnificent people, learned the art of Hawaiian Style Farming and Coconut Tree Climbing , built our community , and above all we celebrated life over. Hair and nourishing food ! Thank you Capitan Edward Frazer for opening your home for such amazing Positive Travelors ! -Rob
